The official web site of IBEW Local 236. It is our intent to have this site serve as an informational tool for our Local 236 membership, for our International Brotherhood and for anyone interested in who we are. Upcoming events, special announcements, called meetings, meeting changes and whatever is relevant and important to the members will be updated on a timely basis.

Our 1500+ membership includes inside electrical wiremen, and employees working in cable television, electrical equipment servicing, government, radio-television broadcasting, and the telephone industry. Our Union Hall is located at 3000 Troy-Schenectady Road, Schenectady, NY 12309. It is 3.3 miles from exit 6 of the Northway ( I-87 ). From the North or South bound exit ramps of Exit 6 follow the directions for Rt 7 West to Schenectady, 3.3 miles on the left at the corner of Rt. 7 and Riverview Rd is our building. Turn on Riverview Rd and enter our parking lot behind the building and we are on the parking lot level.

CAPITAL HOLIDAY LIGHTS IN THE PARK

   

Brother Carlo Figliomeni needs volunteers this Saturday (8th) to help with Capital Holiday Lights in the Park.  Please meet at the Washington Park Lakehouse in Albany at 8:00 AM. 

Starting the weekend of the 15th we will be working Saturdays and Sundays.  Any help you can give will be much appreciated.  Thanks!
