News Letter

Hello Brothers and Sisters,

The newsletter will give you a rundown of some things we are working on for you, some events that you might like to go to or support, and some general information that may be pertinent to our trade and our union. I will post updates regarding the newsletter on the website and your suggestions are welcome.

FAQ's

Q. I subscribed recently, do I need to subscribe again?

A. If you subscribed prior to May 5, 2004, you will have to re-subscribe.

Q. Will you share my e-mail address with anyone?

A. No. Your address will be used solely for the purpose of this newsletter and will not be shared with anyone else. We will now have a separate backup for the addresses but it will not be accessible by anyone else. At some point in the future we may feel it is beneficial for you to have your e-mail address given to some other department or entity but you will always be asked first.

Q. Who can subscribe to the newsletter?

A. Anyone. We will share our good news to all who are interested.

Q. When will I receive my first newsletter?

A. I hope to have the first one out by June 4th.

Q. Will I receive other e-mail from the union?

A. At some point we hope to have enough addresses to warrant notification of events and news by mass e-mailing and if time permits I will do that as things become available. Items that pertain to union related matters and issues will be e-mailed to Local Union 236 members only.

Q. What can I do to help?

A. You can e-mail me at DRahm@IBEW236.org with news, information, or pictures that you think others who receive the newsletter may be interested in, but please be aware that we won't be able to put in everything that is submitted although we will try and get in as much as possible.

Q. How do I subscribe?

A. Please e-mail me at DRahm@IBEW236.org with the e-mail address you want the newsletter to go to, your card # for members only mailings, and your full name. I will put your e-mail address in our database and the newsletter will be sent to your e-mail address. If you do not include a valid card number, you will not receive any information that is to be sent to members only so please double check your entries.
