Health & Benefits
The IBEW Local 236 Health and Benefit Fund is a Health Reimbursement Account (HRA), which is a modified personal account plan. For each hour you work in covered employment, employer contributions will be made to the non-taxable, medical expenses only HRA Plan.
The NECA-IBEW Pension Trust Fund (Pension Trust Fund) was established on June 1, 1971 and became effective on March 14, 1972. A plan year begins on June 1 and ends on May 31 each year. The Plan Year is the period on which the Plan keeps its annual records.
The Annuity Fund acts as a buffer in times of need when you are working – through supplemental benefits when out of work or disabled, educational reimbursements for you & your dependents.
